Dental Implants


A replacement for dentures, dental implants are a stronger, more attractive option for replacing missing or lost teeth. An artificial tooth root is placed into the patient’s jaw, and a lifelike porcelain tooth is attached to it, which is matched to the colour of your own natural teeth.



How long does the treatment take?
In some cases implants can be fitted in a day but most cases usually take approximately 3-4 months
Is the treatment uncomfortable?
It is easier than a tooth extraction
Do I need to stay off work?
Every patient is different, some people have gone back to work on the same day the implants were fitted
Can anybody have an Implant?
Most people who have missing teeth are suitable for implants. There are very few situations in which implants are not advised
